On that day of Adar in the year 1544 - when Israel was surrounded by hordes of sardites, hunting dogs and saboteurs of all kinds, and all the troubles in the world upon them, the troubles of the body and the troubles of the soul - ten righteous Jews and men of action went up, according to the request of Rabbi HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo David Kahane Raba, From Jerusalem to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron.

The ten went with their "ears of manna" and wine in their backpacks to the Purim meal, and when they reached the Cave of the Patriarchs they fell asleep and ended up fasting. They wrapped themselves in their veils and stood in prayer near the walls of the Cave of the Patriarchs, bashed their heads against the stones of the wall, shouted and warned and tore up the clouds to shout for deliverance as long as there was still water left to redeem them. When the guards of the Ishmaelites pushed them, they left the delivery of the portions to the fathers of the world and continued to stand outside in their prayer.

And they say that at the sound of the teenager's shout, the fathers of the world were startled from their rest and were frightened: and why do they lament and fast on Purim? When they saw the parcel of food that was lying there, they were aware of the secret of the troubles and were awakened with great compassion for Israel's salvation. At that hour the judgment of that wicked man came out.
