In those days when the Muslim Council kindly threatened to allow the entry of non-Muslims for a fee, the newspapers announced the following act: As is known, the directors of the bureaus of the Expatriate Fund are now touring the country.
A few days ago some of these businessmen came to Hebron to visit the Cave of the Patriarchs and approached a young Arab in Hebrew who would be their guide. Hela answered them in English that in exchange for half a rolled lira he was ready to put them in the Cave of the Multipliers.
On the way the guide asked them if they knew any language other than Hebrew and when he received a positive answer he advised them not to speak Hebrew in the Cave of the Patriarchs but in some other language.
At the entrance of the cave, an old Arab man, the sun of the cave, came out to meet the tourists, and accepted from them the entrance fee of 500 mai from each. But when they were ready to enter, the sun again warned them not to speak Hebrew in the cave.
The visitors informed the sun that they wanted to speak Hebrew. And they give up the visit if they don't allow it and ask for their money back.
The Sun returned their money and on the condition that they would not speak Hebrew in the Cave of the Patriarchs he did not give up.
